Adapt yourself to the life you have been given; and truly love the people with whom destiny has surrounded you. -Marcus Aurelius

We name everything. Our cars, blankets, animals (in the yard), all living and non living things we give them a name and usually refer to all of them as our friends. It is how we entertain ourselves most of the time. Anyhow when we bought our motor home we knew we had to think of a name. On the drive home.... it was chosen- She will be called Destiny! It's quite fitting if you think about it. Everything we dreamed of is happening right now and it is all a little too good to be true!

But before we head out on the long journey ahead we have to do some maintenance on our house! She is almost 20 years old. I look at it just as if we have bought an actual house. There is always a little bit of work to be done before it is ready to go. So for our first project we are resealing all of the windows. Some we are taking completely out, scraping off the old sealant/tape and reapplying fresh coats then reinserting the windows, others we are just adding new sealant to the outside! Also we took out the old water hose to fill the water tank and are adding a new stronger one. As far as the inside goes I am working on curtains and cupboard cleaning. We love work days on our baby. One step closer to the next leg of the journey! Just got to keep saving for gas money! :-)
My Handsome!

MR. FIX IT!
We took Destiny for a little spin and stopped by a roadside produce stand and we found a lady with this guy on her shoulder. Apparently he is a service animal!?
Motor home life... lots of layers!
