Vacation- Day 4

10/15/2012

Our plan was to start heading out to Tucson, but we had some catching up to do with Jordan’s business and life so we parked in the Starbucks parking lot for the afternoon so we could pick up their wi-fi signal. We used our gift card from Dad and Lynnette and enjoyed some ice coffee and ice tea. We even started up the generator for a while so we could use the TV. It was a perfect lazy afternoon.
Around five pm we headed over to the Joshua Tree Saloon so we could watch the Charger game. It was a place we have wanted to go for years. We pass it every year when we camp out in the national park but we've never had the courage to go in. It was pretty awesome, just what you would expect it to be. Old western themed, dark wood, big booths, dim lights, a pool table, and a bunch of sun-beaten folks. It was an unfortunate game that left our spirts down so we drove out to 29 Palms and spent one more night out in the national park at Indian Cove. It is really close to the 62 and right on our way out to Arizona. We didn't even light a fire, just enjoyed the shooting stars and the sillouettes of the giant boulders. Tomorrow will be a big day of driving so for tonight. . .

Good night world!

My first time at the wheel and wearing the captains hat on our big adventure

We were lucky enough to camp right in front of the rock that we were married on. It was awesome.
