Destiny Update: We have decided not to fix the broken fridge for now. It turns out that using ice is not really that inconvenient. Our fridge is so small that we have to go to the store a couple days a week so getting ice is just as easy. Plus we save ourselves the $600 (at the minimum) it would be for the replacement part and installation. Everything else has been running great since our little breakdown in Kentucky. While Jordan was working at Napa, we bought really nice, new spark plug wires. Destiny is running like a champ! We have discovered that motor homes do not like winter. We have used more tubes of silicone than I can count and we still have one pesky leak. So hopefully we can figure out something soon, maybe we will have to take out one of the windows and re-seal it. We did have one small problem- sometime in Kentucky the pipes froze or something and we developed a leak. So we have been living without running water for quite some time. It's not that big of deal because our tanks are still good, so we have just been using gallons of water. We are hoping to fix them when we get home and the weather is above freezing temperatures.
Funds: Running low, but we should make it home just fine. We will receive our tax refund anytime now and that will help us put a new clutch in the Jetta when we get back to Fallbrook and give us a little more freedom in our travels westward. Plus, we are so happy to announce that I will be able to work at Starbucks for the two months we are home and Jordan will be able to work with Ian and Bryan! The Lord always is faithful to provide.

Sanity Level: 21 feet of living space has nearly unaffected us at all. The way we look at it, we have been preparing for this for a long time. Our living spaces for the past four years have progressively gotten smaller and the best thing we could have ever done was live in the parents motor home for six months. It definitely prepared our hearts, minds, and patience for this trip! After nearly five months of living in the RV we are still feeling the same way! We love our life on the road.
Biggest Struggle: Technology! It seems on the road anything that has to do with technology becomes extremely FRUSTRATING! Things don't work when you want them to, do things they have never done before, etc! But we are adjusting, just getting worse at keeping in contact with people.
Favorite Part: Our favorite part has still been all the connections with people. We first left to discover nature and all that the Lord has created. We wanted to be in his masterpiece and admire all that it is. Even though we have still been doing that we have learned so much about each other and the world through all of our interactions. We are loving all the new people we meet and learning about life through their eyes!
