Gonna miss these little pumpkins...

I had so much fun spending some time with these little guys! But also made me realize how much work a baby is! I think we are good on that for a while! For now we are just enjoying the auntie and uncle roles! I REALLY miss them though!
Nothing is cuter than hearing lil Mars say "juju"! Reminds me of when Mackenzie was that young and said the same thing! I am so blown away at how fast she is growing up!!!
If this is not a Sara face I don't know what is! Levi reminds so much of Jon but then there are moments like this when he is EXACTLY like his momma!
Another great thing that Jordan and I got to experience was holding Marley for her first firework show in Lake Arrowhead! Last year she was way to young to understand so this year we got to see the marvel! She kept saying, "wow...... boooom booooom..... whoa...... lights..... boooom......whoa....." CUTEST THING In THE WORLD!!!! Probably the best firework show we have ever seen!
Can't wait to come home and meet little Zoe (Ian and Richelle's daughter due in December) and Logan (Josh and Priscilla's handsome boy due in September)!!!!!

Masquerade

we attended a themed birthday party, it was my first masquerade! Very fun to see what people came up with. We went with the masks from the Dollar Store!
Some of the group! It was a wine and cheese kind of night! Such a great idea and so good to see Bear and Ramzi!!!! That was a pleasant surprise.
And yes ladies this is the Hula Surfer Dance by the one and only Justin Craw.... if you didn't know already it is THE MOVE!!! If you have never seen a guy do it just call Justin, but be careful cause he might steal your heart in the act!

In Awe....

I love my mother as the trees love water and sunshine - she helps me grow, prosper, and reach great heights. ~Terri Guillemets

One of my favorite moments on our trip back to California was the two days I got to spend with my mamma, martin and mack! I was bummed Marty had to work, but also grateful he was finally able to work again after five months of recovery!! I am blown away how forgiveness and love heal all things. My mom has been so patient with me and all the choices I have made. I am truly blessed to have a mom who never stops loving and pushing me! And I love how my heart has healed towards her and I am now able to accept the love she offers! The kids are such a blessing to my heart. My crazy Martin and his little entertainer personality. He is always trying to get a laugh out of you! And little Mackenzie Rose, she's kinda like a mini me... we have a lot of the same weird little corks! But she is such a cuddle bug still. We sat on the recliner and just watch TV together all snuggled in a blanket. What a sweet little soul! I miss them already! Thanks mom for being incredible and for working so hard!!! And thank you Marty for loving my mom and giving me such wonderful little siblings!!!!

IT IS DONE!!!

Cannot thank Scott enough for all his help on this sucka!!! It turned out so amazing! I felt so accomplished building something from the ground up! And thanks to Hayley for the wind chime! It's going to be the beginning of our collection!

ShEd: PART 2

"If you go to work on your goals, your goals will go to work on you.
If you go to work on your plan, your plan will go to work on you.
Whatever good things we build end up building us."- Rohn

From a shaky frame to firm walls and paint! It's been a whirlwind, a lot of work, but the most rewarding thing we have done! We feel so accomplished after building something with our hands! This is a dream come true and this shed answers all our problems in life. ITS ADVENTURE TIME! All we have to do is put the trim on, seal her up and load our stuff in it!

Free...

So incredibly perfect.... thanks for sharing kel!

So we live out in our old van
Travel all across this land
Me and you

And we'll end up hand in hand
Somewhere down on the sand
Just me and you

Just as free
Free as we'll ever be
Just as free
Free as we'll ever be

We'll drive until the city lights
Dissolve into a country sky
Just me and you

Lay underneath the harvest moon
And do all the things that lovers do
Just me and you

Just as free
Free as we'll ever be
Just as free
Free as we'll ever be
And ever…. be

We were born before the wind
Also younger than the sun
And the bonnie boat was won as we sailed into the mystic
Hark, now hear the sailors cry
Ya smell the sea and ya feel the sky
Let your soul and spirit fly into the mystic

When a fog horn blows I'll be coming home
Yah when a fog horn blows I want to feel it
Don't have to fear it and I want to rock your gypsy soul
Just like way back in the days of old
And together we will flow into the mystic

No we don't have a lot of money
No we don't have a lot of money
No we don't have a lot of money
No we don't have a lot of money
No we don't have a lot of money
No we don't have a lot of money
No we don't have a lot of money
All we need is love

We're free as we'll ever be
Just as free
Free as we'll ever be

So we live out in our old van
Travel all across this land
Me and you

Joy

"Children are the hands by which we take hold of Heaven."
- Henry Ward Beecher

"The child must know that he is a miracle - that since the beginning
of the world there hasn't been, and until the end of the world there
will not be, another child like him."
- Pablo Casals

I feel so honored to be a part of these kids' lives.... it is such a blessing to see how each one is growing and learning at their own stage! Such a beautiful gift they are. There is such an innocence and beauty, makes my heart melt!

Shed Time!

SHED: (in case you haven't heard the plan) We are building this on Jordan's parents property, THANK YOU SCOTT AND KELLIE, so we can put all of our house stuff in it. Mostly kitchen toys and Jordan's art stuff.... We will put everything in here except for 3 or 4 suitcases and then we are going to go TRAVEL for a while! Our first destination is Kauai- July 13.

Within the first day of being home we jumped straight in! Thank goodness for Scott and his plan.. otherwise it would have taken much much longer to get this sucka started!!!
Just supervising!! ;-) Men love that....
Day One: The floor and three walls were framed and set!
I love being outside with the boys, hitting a few nails! Makes me feel like I can accomplish things!
I will have to get you a picture of this palm nailer that came with our nail gun.... IT IS THE MOST AMAZING THING IN THE WORLD! I want one with a portable air compressor backpack, then I could just walk around neighborhoods nailing stuff! hey, a girl can dream right!
Day Two: The men were in "THE ZONE"! Very serious faces, grunting to communicate, sweating..... you know guy stuff! They got so much accomplished and it looks like a little tiny house. Jordan and I are debating whether or not we should just live in it!
My husband is SO HOT when he is holding power tools!
