Saying Goodbye to Luke
The downside of living in a tourist town is that as soon as the "season" starts coming to a close, all your friends start to leave. So many of the friends we have met are either from another country or are college students here in the US, either way they all have to head home and be back in time for school. This week was especially hard for us because our dear friend Luke finished his internship and had to head back to Chicago. It's funny that a guy you met watching a hockey game, who was rooting for the other team, slowly finds a way in your hearts and becomes like a brother!
The positive side of it all is that the week he was heading out of town his family came in to help him move home and so did his amazing girlfriend. We were so happy to meet his family. It was awesome to get a glimpse of where he came from and we can only see more of why he is so amazing! We will miss our friend around the campfires, the extra mouth to eat our catch of the night, and just hanging out in town. We are excited for all that is to come for him though and are so grateful we were able to have this summer together! We love ya Luke and hope this last year of college brings amazing things your way!

WELCOME DANNY BOY!!!
We are also excited to announce the birth of sweet Danny. Mamma and baby are healthy and we can only be so thankful after such a rough pregnancy. Sara is a trooper (and Jon too) for making it through. You have made another perfect, handsome baby boy for us all to love on! Welcome to the world little Danny we can't wait to meet you in person!

CAR SHOW
We finished the week off at the "Rod Run" in town. Hundreds and hundreds of amazing cars are brought to town for a car show. They have a little parade through town and then are parked for everyone to come and check out. I had to work for most of the day but Jordan got to see them and then enjoy a BBQ at the city park with some of his friends.
DISC GOLF DAYS
Jordan has also really taken to playing disc golf on his afternoons away from work. Carlos and Josh have an entire course set up in the forest behind the old airport. It is pretty awesome as they play they get to enjoy all the nature that is Montana. Every week Jordan plays he gets better and better. Doesn't surprise me though.... my husband is naturally good at everything! haha So glad that he has found another hobby!
