25 Years of Life...
If you would have asked me 5, 10, or 15 years ago what I would being doing when I was 25 the answer would have been totally different than what I actually did. It's crazy how things can change, what dreams never come into fruition and all the things that can happen when you are willing to say "Yes" to most things and learn to move past others. It was crazy and hard and beautiful all at the same time.
So here is year 25
1. I learned how to live in 21 foot space with one other person
2. I learned what it is like to live without electricity, without a fridge and without running water.
3. I traveled through 15 states and explored 6 National Parks
4. I learned how to live with only 10 shirts, 2 pairs of pants, 3 pairs of shoes, a couple of sweatshirts, no nice makeup, no curling iron and no blow dryer. And how to live and save money while only making minimum wage
5. I became brave enough to not rely on a constant paycheck and be far away from my family and friends
6. I learned how to drive a motor home across the country
7. I finally met my godson Cole, two years after he was born!
8. I fell in love with Arkansas!
9. I experienced Nashville, TN and finally got to see Texas
10. I embraced the fact that my life may never be "normal" (meaning moving will always be involved in some way, shape, or form)
11. I walked over 300 miles, up and down flights of stairs in 7 weeks while working at Amazon
12. I had 3 jobs in 3 different states
13. I spent my very first Christmas away from family
14. I read through the entire New Testament
15. I went to my first Spring Training game and my favorite player photobombed our picture!
16. I celebrated my 3rd anniversary to a boy I met 14 years ago....
17. I got to meet my little baby nephew Lennix!
18. I got to hang out with my Logan and find out my little sister is giving me another nephew!
19. I finally got to meet little Nate and find out Ian and Richelle are giving us niece or nephew #9
20. I checked off Zion National Park from my bucket list
21. I spent 4 months is Montana, which has been a dream of mine
22. I am embracing "loving my family and friends from far away"
23. I rode my bike over 100 miles this summer
24. I learned that even though I am learning how to be brave, I am still just a little mountain girl at heart
25. I processed the death of two family members and a close friend.
God and nature heal all things
26. I finally got to see the Redwoods
27. I learn more and more each day that there is only One who can sustain us in all phases of life
Cheers to Year 26! Who knows what this one will bring?!
