If you take away our few months "home" in California this spring- July 3, 2013 marked our 200th day of freedom!
Destiny has far exceeded our expectations of a car and a home. And we are learning to love life on the road more and more each week. Montana has been so far, the greatest summer experience we have had! Our souls, hearts and minds come alive here. I can't imagine not feeling alive in a place like this. It's magical. Right now I'm listening to our daily thunderstorm roll in. The wind is bursting through the wind chimes and the rustling through the trees. Thunder booms through the whole town and then echoes on the mountains that surround us. The rain is soon to follow.. or maybe it will bring hail like last night. Hail as big as dimes! It's exciting and always changing.
We are content and full and exactly where we need to be. And that feels so good. On our 200th day I had to work but Jordan got the night off. It was our hottest day up here (86 degrees)! Too hot to sit in the motor home all day so Jordan set off on an adventure to a nearby stream to cool off. I was at work putting away a big order (which is honestly so fun for me!) Jordan kept sending me pictures of this amazing stream he had found. It was so beautiful, it didn't even look real- some kind of make believe place in a cartoon or movie. I just smiled because in my heart I was thinking,
My Peter Pan has found his Neverland
Not only in this stream but this whole place. He is so alive here. He breathes easy, laughs often, and is smiling all the time. He gets to adventure into something amazing almost everyday. God created Jordan to see and appreciate life. He's sees things that we all walk right past. A little heart in the petal of a flower, or the way the sun hits a tree just right, or these beautiful little rocks. Up here he is fulfills his purpose and gives the glory to the Creator for every tiny creation and the big ones too! And because of that my husband is full of life, it is seeping out from his every pore. And it's contagious........
We are blessed. Life is good and cheers to another 200 days!!
Don't you just love those pastel skies... especially around sunrise and sunset? You guys got some great pictures of that! And the greens... just a deep hue of green that doesn't even exist in California! It makes our greens here in these mountains look very brownish!
